ABOUT ME

Hi, thanks for dropping by!

Hi! My name is Erin. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my cozy little corner of the internet. Here you’ll meet the blonde behind it all.

Let’s start with who I am.

I was born in 2001 in a pretty large town called Abingdon in Oxfordshire, England, where I have lived and worked for my whole life with my parents, little sister and a whole array of pets – currently a cat and my cocker spaniel “fur baby”.

From a very young age I had two very clear passions: sports and travel. Being a very active youngster, I took up many sports. Athletics and netball were the main sports supported by my home town, however in my later teens I discovered rowing and instantly fell in love with it and being on the water.

My passion for travel developed from my love of movies. Controversially the biggest influence being the 1960s version of ‘Swiss family Robinson’. After watching this I knew I wanted a life of adventure, seeing all these fascinating species and learning about them, and as I got older this passion extended to aiding in their conservation.

Finishing secondary school in 2020, I obtained my A-Level results in an unconventional way, and although they were good enough grades, I knew university wasn’t an option for me (at least for the time being, things may change when I’m older and have a clearer sense of my future pathway), I didn’t do well in closed educational environments, I’ve always been a more hands on learner.

I have over the last few years developed a rather extensive bucket list (yikes!) but out of all the experiences I’m dreaming of, two stick out: diving with manta rays and snorkelling with whale sharks. To do this, I aim to learn to dive in Indonesia, the Philippines or Belize.

My ultimate dream would be to turn my passion for travel into a career!

Here’s to dreaming!
