For as long as I can remember, periods have been a nightmare. The fear of a sudden endometriosis flare-up—the kind that completely floors you—has left me paralysed with anxiety more times than I care to admit. It’s not just a little worry; it’s the kind of fear that seeps into every part of life. And let me tell you, it gets even worse when you throw travelling into the mix, where unpredictability is the only constant.

I’ve always wanted to travel the world. Since I was young (like really young – I can’t remember NOT being obsessed with travel), I’ve dreamed of exploring new places, immersing myself in different cultures, and experiencing everything the world has to offer. But as my endometriosis felt like it was taking over my life without a solution, I started doubting if that dream could ever really come true. Could my body handle the unpredictability and stress of long-term travel?

Fast forward to today. I’m 23 (it’s been 12 years since this nightmare stared), and after 2.5 years of almost non-stop travel, I’ve learnt a thing or two about managing endometriosis on the road. It hasn’t been easy—there were bumps along the way—but I’ve picked up some game-changing tools and strategies that make it possible to travel despite the challenges of chronic illness. Whether you’re travelling off the beaten path or in a city, you won’t have to worry about running out of supplies. These are must-haves for anyone wondering how to travel with periods in a more sustainable way.

3. Reusable Hand Warmers: Heat Therapy Without the Fuss
